We’re over-the-moon to announce our expansion—AptDeco users can offi­cial­ly buy and sell from any­where in the con­tigu­ous Unit­ed States! It’s been a long time com­ing and we’re excit­ed to share Apt­De­co with the rest of the coun­try. This means more of all the good stuff—more options, more buy­ers, and more fur­ni­ture saved from landfills. 

As a com­pa­ny, this expan­sion has been a labor of love and we have been so excit­ed to share it with you. We’re a lean team of hard­work­ing indi­vid­u­als who are pas­sion­ate about what they do. That’s all to say, this is no small deal for us. We’re shout­ing it from the rooftops and hope you do too!

What this means for our existing community

The Apt­De­co you know and love isn’t going anywhere—delivery with­in our stan­dard ser­vice zones is still includ­ed and self pick­up will always be an option.

Now you can buy from any­where in the coun­try and get it deliv­ered, or sell your fur­ni­ture to buy­ers across the Unit­ed States with pick­up includ­ed. That’s what we call a win-win

The Nitty-Gritty

Our orig­i­nal region—the Northeast—will now be referred to as our “stan­dard ser­vice zone.” Loca­tions out­side of this zone will be referred to as our “extend­ed ser­vice zones.” This dis­tinc­tion is impor­tant as it informs the type of pick­up and deliv­ery that will be assigned to an order. 

In order to pick up and deliv­er around the coun­try we’ve part­nered with a white glove deliv­ery part­ner. They’ll help us facil­i­tate orders that are to/from our extend­ed ser­vice zones. 

If an order is placed with­in your local stan­dard ser­vice zone (both to and from the same stan­dard ser­vice zone), you’ll receive our local Apt­De­co Deliv­ery. Any order out­side of this dis­tinc­tion will be facil­i­tat­ed through our white glove deliv­ery partner.

Here’s a full break­down of ser­vice zones and loca­tions served

There are a few dif­fer­ences that you may expe­ri­ence with our white glove deliv­ery part­ner, but they shouldn’t affect your over­all Apt­De­co expe­ri­ence and you’ll hard­ly notice the difference. 

1. For extend­ed ser­vice zone orders our deliv­ery you can expect pick­up & deliv­ery with­in 2–4 weeks.
2. Instead of sched­ul­ing pick­up and deliv­ery through our plat­form, our deliv­ery part­ner will call you direct­ly to find a date and time that works best for you.
3. Our deliv­ery part­ner offers minor assem­bly but won’t be able to offer full dis­as­sem­bly or assem­bly on more com­plex items
