Seller's Notes: This is a stunning vintage/antique 1930's - 1940's solid Mahogany wood dresser with 6 spacious drawers. Mahogany has historically been considered as rare, exotic, and expensive, because it only grows in certain climates and is hard to get, which adds to the allure and luxurious appearance of the nearly perfect wood tone. The quality craftsmanship of a bygone era is showcased in the dovetail drawer construction, elegant metal drawer pulls that are crafted into an oval shape, hand carved fluted pillar side columns and leaf style embellishment at lower half, with subtle flared feet (which have minor scratches, understandably). The thoughtful design lines of this piece are reflected in the gently curving outward convex style of the drawer fronts, as you can see in the photos. Recently purchased from this website because it matched closely with my existing vintage bedroom set. (Unfortunately I didn't measure, and it didn't fit into the room, so I haven't used it.) Reluctantly parting ways with this gorgeous piece! Please take a moment to double check all measurements to make sure it will fit where you want to place it in your home.
