Seller's Notes: Beautiful, one-of-a-kind vintage sofa by Founders Furniture upholstered with authentic vintage Jack Lenor Larsen blue and orange tie dye print fabric. There are only a few other pieces made with this iconic JLL velvet, and they’re all attributed to collaborations with the equally iconic Milo Baughman. Manufactured in the 80’s by Founders, and had been sitting in my late grandmother’s reading room since I was a child. This sofa is truly unique and vibrant— and would make an excellent statement piece for any maximalist! Great vintage condition with it’s only major blemish being the stain on and around the label underneath the cushions— which we didn’t notice until we moved the sofa and removed the cushions for transport. All else is still in great shape, and has plenty of life left! This sofa has been in our family for decades, but with my grandmother passing and my home being too small to accommodate this piece, I’d love for it to find its next owner who will love it as much as my grandmother did. It’s such a beauty in person, and not one person who has laid eyes on it hasn’t complimented it! Oh— and it’s also genuinely comfortable. Many vintage pieces aren’t cozy, but this couch truly is. Very soft cushions and sturdy structure!
