Seller's Notes:This is a rare mid-century Finnish wooden chair, made in the 1950s. It was made in the workshop of KY Varjonen of Uusikylä Finland. This Stick Back chair is handsome and minimalist and looks great as a side chair. The chair is in fair condition and is unrestored. The wood is solid and strong, however, there is wear on the black stain on both the back and the legs of the chair. The wooden seat has a patina and some dark spots as shown in the photograph. The original sticker and stamp are evident on the underside of the seat and state "097815 Varjonen - Uusikyla- Finland".
