Seller's Notes:These two chairs are being sold as a pair. They are Art Deco style made in the 1930's from China. They are finished with black lacquer and the finish has recently been unprofessionally retouched. These chairs were constructed each with one piece of wood and have wicker inlay in the seat and back rest. Although Chinese in origin, These two chairs have the character of the Japanese aesthetic sensibility: Wabi-Sabi, based on their transient beauty of impermanence and imperfection.
