Seller's Notes:Selling a nice pair of vintage (1970's-1980's) chrome bar stools designed by Harry Bertoia and made by Knoll, Inc. These stools have full covered black faux suede seats with the original tags underneath. They are marked Knoll on the bases as well.
Dimensions: 21.75ʺ W x 22ʺ D x 41.25ʺ H x 29.25" Seat H
Notes: Very Good Condition, one stool shows surface rust under suede seat (see photo), otherwise only minor surface scuffs consistent with age.
Designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952
Great condition. The fabric was recently cleaned.
Some rust on seat that you cannot see when the seat cover is on
Harry Bertoia was a complete and gifted artist. Knoll historian Brian Lutz once said “Bertoia’s paintings were better than his sculptures. And his sculptures were better than his furniture. And his furniture was absolutely brilliant.”
