Product details

Seller's Notes: Very hip, stunning set of wall lamps. These lamps were the absolute height of design in the early ’90s. I’m selling this set which I bought new in 1991. Highly adjustable, these are functionally modular lamps, each using the same lamp head with a 2-stage on/off switch (high-low). The wall lamps were disassembled to unmount them from wall and are working, however the heads could stand to be rewired at this point. They have been in storage since 2001 and there are two additional heads. They also include an optional 6.5” mounting plate for non-hardwired installations. All are for 120 VAC (US-spec) and in excellent shape. The manufacturer does not appear to be around anymore—I cannot find any info on what happened to them or the designers. Original cost: $750. Specifications are as follows: MAKE/MODEL PAF (Milano) LOGO 10/50, made in Italy; designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo (1990) WALL LAMPS (2) Base: 4.7” x 5” x 1.5” Arm length: 9” H, swings 180° and projects 1–8”; Can be used with or without circular baseplate LAMP HEADS (4) Size: 5.6” x 2.2” x 1.3” radius Connector: 1/4” phone jack Bulb: 50W 12V 6.35 bi-pin (G or GY) PLEASE NOTE: Both lamps are currently functioning, however the wiring inside the heads is showing its age. The two additional heads are not functioning because the wiring to the bulbs is thought to be oxidized. I have taken the lamps apart to investigate and found that the transformers are working perfectly; the wiring through the arms works perfectly; there is power through the jacks to the wires; all with new bulbs; and it is the bulbholders in the two extra heads that are not making contact with the wiring. This can be simply re-wired but that's beyond my capabilities (requires new 12V bulbholders, soldering and rivets).
