Seller's Notes: Mayfair Steamer Trunk Desk. We are originals owners, purchased 2014. Sadly we no longer have use for it and after much thought, we are letting it go. The Mayfair collection has been discontinued so these don't come up for sell often! Retail was over $3,700. Here are it's features direct from RH; Meticulously handcrafted with unmatched attention to detail and a respect for traditional craftsmanship, our trunks recall the luggage once used by rail and ocean voyagers. Each of these iconic trunks takes 72 hours to build and features brushed steel over a solid wood frame, 3,000 hand-hammered brass nail heads and antiqued cast metal hardware. * Handmade of brushed steel finish over a solid wood frame * Leather trim and corner brackets * Leather-wrapped handles * Oak slats with a tobacco finish * Cast metal antiqued hardware * 5 Canvas-lined drawers Dimensions Per RH: * Overall: 65"W x 33"D x 30"H (I added 2 inches on total width and 1 inch on total depth from RH's listed dimensions due to leather handles) * Keyboard Tray Interior (1): 23¼"W x 16¾"D x 2"H * Top Left/Right Drawer Interior (2): 15"W x 17"D x 6"H * Bottom Left/Right Drawer Interior (2): 15"W x 17"D x 9½"H * Chair Opening: 25"W x 31½"D x 24"H Wear and tear: * All the sides of the desk are in amazing condition, leather too. And the insides the drawers are mint condition. * There is a manufacturer defect that showed up a couple years ago on the desktop…. ripples in the steel. No changes to the top since they showed up. It hasn’t affected our ability to use it for full time remote computer work. * There is a small dent on the desktop as shown in the photos. * Some wear on one of the sides of drawers as shown in the photos. * Scratches in desktop, which is normal wear and tear due to nature of material.
