Seller's Notes:Restoration Hardware Queen Empire Rosette Sleigh Bed (Antiqued Grey): This bed is intended for use with a box spring. Per Restoration Hardware, the bed is “hand-built of kiln-dried solid hardwood” and features “mortise-and-tenon joinery” and “a textured, sandblasted surface” with a “weathered, distressed patina.” Per Restoration Hardware, "imperfections and nicks are to be expected, and part of the wood's character." There is also a crack in one of the rosettes and the wood is slightly damaged where each side attaches to the headboard (please see photos). The bed was wobbly but we replaced the legs using manufacturer's replacements and added metal center support under the slats (see photos). All in all, it's a great bed with some cosmetic blemishes.
