Paul McCobb Irwin Collection 4 Dining Chairs
Seller's Notes: Four mid century caned back chairs designed by Paul McCobb for Directional with wool high-quality upholstery. Produced by H. Sacks & Sons of Boston, MA for their Connoisseur collection in 1956 (model number 7001 side chairs). Ebony stained sculptural frames with cane-back head rests and upholstered in chocolate brown wool sateen durable KNOLL fabric, which beautifully complements the ebony wood. The base stretchers are adorned with brass accents on both sides. Excellent, restored condition (refinished frames and wool upholstery / foam are relatively new). The caning needs to be replaced - but structurally sound.
