Beautiful grained rosewood. It is deeper in the bottom part, so you can fit all your wonderful coffee table books there and all your knick knacks on the top, that is slightly narrower. The difference is 2.5" between top and bottom depth. The shelves can be adjusted up and down, except for the middle one. Our Story: We found this beauty in the birth town of the world famous Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. It has been neglected for many years and all covered in cobweb and needed lots of love, but just like the ugly duckling, it turned in to a beautiful swan.
