Seller's Notes: Antique Oak Lackawanna Bathroom 3-Shelf Medicine Cabinet with Mirror and Towel Bar is made of solid oak. There are 3 shelves inside. The mirror is squared at the bottom and rounded at the top and beveled around. The little plaque above the mirror reads Lackawanna Linen Supply, Office Towel Division, of Consolidated Laundries Corporation, Jersey City, Newark and Asbury Park. Consolidated Laundries Corporation, a Maryland corporation having its principal office in New York City, was engaged in the business of manufacturing and laundering linens and uniforms for barber shops, restaurants, hotels, and similar establishments, and in laundering and repairing household linens and apparel for the public. At its plant located at 1208 Summit Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey, known as the Lackawanna Linen Supply Division, the Company manufactured and repaired uniforms and other linens supplied to its customers and also operated a linen-supply laundry, a family-service laundry, a repair department and a dry-cleaning department. The cabinet has two sturdy metal hangers at the to and is ready to hang. The knob is white. There are some tiny white specs of paint on it and one streak of white paint on the front door. The bottom shelf's wooden lip is separated from the left side and needs wood glue or a small nail to put it back in place. Otherwise, it is a sturdy piece of NJ history.
