Custom class top (included) has protected the walnut finish throughout its life.

With typical modesty, Florence Knoll described her line of desks as the “meat and potatoes” she envisioned for office spaces. “I did it because I needed the piece of furniture for a job and it wasn’t there, so I designed it.” While this may have been the motivation for the Table Desk (1961), the result is anything but a fill-in piece. Perfectly proportioned and flawlessly detailed, it embodies Florence Knoll’s adherence to the teachings of her mentor, Mies van der Rohe. Made in Italy.
