Wegner Producer: PP Møbler Danmark Model: Bar Cart Time Period: late 1960´s - early 1970´s Dimensions: 24 in High x 28 in Width/Length x 19 in Deep Material: Oak About the design: PP Møbler started in the 1940s, when brothers Ejnar and Lars Peder Pedersen set up a woodworking shop in the small town of Vejen, Denmark. The 1960s brought en epic collaboration between Hans Wegner and PP Møbler as they worked to prototype his designs which would then go into production with other companies. After many years Wegner designed a chair exclusively for PP Møbler and urged the family to sell it under their own PP Møbler name. The 1970s brought expansion of the facilities and they took over production of a slew of classic Wegner designs and the partnership continued until the 1980´s when PP Møbler and Wegner launched the Circle Chair which was Wegner’s final furniture design. This bar cart design originated in the 1950´s in teak with production moving to PP Møbler with this rare oak version which is hardly seen in the US.
