Seller's Notes:This is a pair of framed chromolithographs called Parakeets by Rutledge for John Cassell’s book circa 1880s from “Cassell’s Canaries, and Cage Birds”. These are also quality frames with light “gold” detail as pictured. Perfect for any bird lover or anyone who has birds or had birds as a child! I had parakeets when I was young. I purchased these from Clary & Co Antique’s on Bleecker St in the Village of New York. I have had these parakeets and lovebirds in the living room and the bedroom. I have not opened the frames. There is a water stain on the frame’s backing as pictured but image does not appear stained from the front. There is no smell. Author is John Cassel, Artist is Rutledge. #birds #pairofbirds 14.5” W x 3/4” D x 17 3/4” H I’m open to the idea of selling them individually.
