Seller's Notes: About Lanoba Design: Started in 2016 by Lars, a Danish native now based in the U.S., Lanoba Design focuses on curating authentic pieces that have been crafted during the golden age of Mid-Century Modern Design between 1950-1975 in Denmark. All items are imported directly from Denmark and refurbished by Lars. The Red Cross to the rescue! At the Danish/German border shop, we found these at the Red Cross Second Hand store but they were ready for the fire pit. Although in rough condition, we decided to take on this project as these are a quintessentially Danish dining chair. Produced by Farstrup during the 1960´s, the style has continually been popular for a number of reasons. Firstly the quality of the strong, robust frame which you can see has been restored and shows how they survive the test of time. Farstrup focused on quality materials for their chairs but also incorporated slim lines and compact design make them an easy match for a variety of dining tables.
