Seller's Notes: This was once a maple desk from Ethan Allen. I sawed off the legs to create a coffee table, and then painted the item gloss black with red gloss trim. Incredibly sturdy, does not rock at all and the legs are in complete balance. The legs are still available and come with the item if you like, so the handy among you could turn this back into a desk or even make it a convertible desk/coffee table with the right hard ware. Solid maple construction, no veneers or particle board. Made in the USA. Ethan Allen stamp in the drawers. The buyer could have the piece dipped and restored to its original maple finish after purchase. Listing as vintage since this has been modified and then painted by hand.
