Seller's Notes:This simple yet elegant giltwood mirror served as the design centerpiece at our place. It's originally from France (c. 1820). Aged with the beautiful patina, it has concave molding with applied floral medallions. The gold has worn in places in a beautiful way - it reveals the warm red bole beneath. The distressed glass seems to be a replacement later on. The mirror is very heavy and will need to be professionally handled. We purchased this from Clark Graves Antiques in 2013.
