Seller's Notes:This desk has an untold history. I purchased it a couple years from someone who had restored it with new glass and paint, and it's only been lightly and carefully used since then. It's brilliant for organizing and displaying your belongings. There are four spacious shelves behind the picture-window doors, which come with a charming skeleton key. Below are three wide drawers of varying heights. When you open the drop-down work surface (with auto-extending supports), it's complete with a built-in embellished writing pad, two small drawers, and a row of nifty letter compartments. Charming and practical! The piece came with a couple scuffs in the paint, a worn-in writing pad, and a small chink in the corner of the hutch (does not affect structural integrity). It still works beautifully and is a unique piece you won't find anywhere else! I'm sad to part with it.
