Seller's Notes: A lovely vestige of days gone by, this is an antique Adirondack style framed paper punch wall hanging “God Bless Our Home”. Unsigned, this hand crafted picture has the verbiage in bright red yarn with green yarn accents scrolled both around as well amongst the verbiage. It is framed in an old dark brown wood frame in the Adirondack style whose age is belied by the old flat head nails in the rear which are holding it together. It has a two piece cardboard backing and wire hanger on back. From end to end the frame measures 27” long by 15" high with the image measuring 23" by 11". For its age, it is in overall very good vintage condition. The needlework on the image is fully intact and clear while the beige backing shows some signs of age related fade and some staining. There is wear to the backing in the upper left corner that is apparent upon close review. The wood frame is in likewise good condition with minor marks on the wood primarily along the decorative railings on the frame. In our opinion, these age related nicks and issues only enhance the vintage nature and appeal of this piece. Please see pictures for overall condition.
