Seller's Notes: The wooden frame in gilt and black with some distressed areas showing the wood under the paint. There are garlands of flowers and leaves and stripes carved in higher relief. There are two garland carved brass handles. The glass tray covers a cracked wood underneath, evocative of a giraffe's spots. The tray is in excellent sturdy and measures 17 and 3/8" long x 11" wide x 1" deep and the handles rise for about 1" from the frame. This is a beautiful antique traditional piece that could be decorative or used as a serving tray.
