Seller's Notes: An antique piece that would look great and function in almost any setting. This particular style of Larkin Drop Front Secretary Desks was among the most sought-after and unique. This secretary was hand-crafted of solid oak and shows grain throughout. The piece features hand-carved detailing. The top of this piece includes a uniquely shaped mirror. The glass is beveled and original to the piece. There are no cracks in the mirror. The body of this piece is the drop front secretary area. Within the secretary area, there are 6 small cubbies and 1 pull-out drawer. The secretary front and the bottom drawer both have their locks intact, but the keys are missing. Open, the writing area is about 21" deep x 25" wide. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition and was crafted between 1900-1910. The mirror and original finish are in their original condition, unaltered. with some imperfections considering the desk's age of over 110 years. Dimensions L30“WxD15“xH48“.
