Product details
Seller's Notes: The rocking chair is in super great condition. But first what you need is a huge veranda or back porch, with a huge plot of super green grass at the bottom of the veranda, that leads up to a nice blue lake. Or you need to at least be picturing that in you head. The cane is all hand done with sturdy orange plastic rope. The frame is still the weathered wood. The first rocking chairs were originally stationary chairs that had rockers added to them. Not until the early 1800s did people start building chairs with the soul purpose to be a rockers and it became widespread. This chair was rescued from my great aunts farm house, that was built over 100 years ago. She had it in the attic.
