Seller's Notes:Vintage dental (possibly antique as it may have been made in the 1920s, unsure). This piece has housed my jewelry for the last few years but I'm downsizing select items from my collection in preparation for a move next year. Especially the pieces I dread moving by myself. The drawers come out to make it a bit more manageable but it's still kind of a beast for one person. Dimensions: Overall length/width: 33 1/2" L Height: - just over 51" (when closed) - just over 56" (top open) Depth: - 12 1/4" More details: In fair / rustic condition, which I personally love, but may be time for a restoration. Usable but definitely needs some love. Made of wood, this is a substantial piece. The drawers do come out for easier transport. Painted pale green with black accents (possibly Bakelite handles?) and a mirror strip between sections. The original color seems to have been a stunning darker green somewhere between forest and olive. One drawer handle needs a simple repair and to be reattached, but I have both pieces and the backplate. In addition to the 20 drawers of varying sizes, the top section also opens to reveal additional hidden storage. I did a cursory cleaning on the right hand drawers using Barkeeper's Friend, a damp sponge and a light touch. I left the others to show the difference and how easily they clean up. The interior of the drawers is another story. They need some serious cleaning or full replacement of the bottoms in most as this piece was also used to store art supplies at some point. I took the shorter and more temporary route of simply lining the drawers with scrapbook paper as to not damage my jewelry. There are other repairs needed as this piece has lived a full but rough life. I enjoy the dings and chips, because I feel like I can relate. Please ask for additional pictures, I have tons!
