1.     Post great photos of your item. The more, the better! Please make sure to use real-life photos showing the actual conditions of your item. It will help potential buyers to have a better understanding of your furniture.

2.     Include as many details of your item as possible. Be specific and sincere about style, brand, color, material, conditions, and measurements. Buyers are most likely to buy used furniture when they know what to expect once they actually get it.

3.     Once your listing goes live at our site, you may want to share it via Facebook, Twitter, Google + and Pinterest. Being active in social media would help your listing to generate engagement with a larger audience interested in home décor and furniture. By sharing your listing you’ll be able to get up to 15% more attention and potentially selling it faster!

4.     Review your listing’s performance through your AptDeco dashboard regularly. If you go to My Account > My Listings and select your listing, you’ll be able to see how many people have looked at your item, added it to their cart, or added it to their wish list.

5.    If you wish to prompt a sale, consider making your furniture even more attractive to potential buyers by doing any of the following:

  • Editing your listing’s price to make it the most appealing among others on the site.

  • Covering 50% or 100% of the delivery fee. Some sellers find it a better practice to list their item a bit higher and cover the delivery in order to attract more buyers. It’s a win-win situation, sellers keep their earnings and buyers get a discounted or even free delivery of their item.

  • Offering price discounts – sell even quicker by sending a discount to buyers who’ve added your items to their cart.

6.     Review your email and account on a regular basis. AptDeco will notify you via email and text once you get a purchase request.Then, you’ll have a 24 hour period to confirm the sale.
